Mission
One of the keys to self-confidence is feeling good about yourself, physically and mentally. Your smile can reflect your confidence, but more importantly, it can build your confidence. A person who is happy with his or her smile will smile more, creating a positive image. It’s no coincidence that the people we like to be around the most are happy and confident people. Orthodontic treatment is one key to an attractive smile and self-confidence.
Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment and appreciate your cooperation.
Consultation Appointment
After the diagnostic records are taken, a consultation appointment will be scheduled to review with you in-depth the optimal treatment plan, length of treatment and fee structure. The cost of this consultation appointment is included in the diagnostic records fee.
Appointments Once Treatment Has Begun
The average comprehensive treatment orthodontic case lasts approximately 24 months. Treatment lengths can be significantly longer or shorter depending on the severity of the case. The patient is seen on a regular basis during treatment for adjustments to the appliances. Based on individual treatment needs, these appointments may be from 3 to 6 weeks apart.
Partial, or early, treatment is sometimes warranted for children before all of the permanent teeth have come in. Early treatment is meant to lessen the severity and future effects of tooth crowding or poor “bite.” Treatment lengths for early treatment vary depending on the problem.
Payment Options
The cost of orthodontic treatment will vary according to the complexity of the problem. It is our mission to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! We offer payment plans with no finance charges as long as payments are made on time. Typically, a down payment is made at the time treatment is started, and the balance of the fee is paid in monthly installments over the length of treatment. A discount is available when a comprehensive treatment fee (excluding partial or early treatment) is paid in-full at the start of treatment. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards. If you have any questions about financing or payment, ask us! We will thoroughly explain your choices and work hard to accommodate your needs.
Insurance
If you are fortunate to have insurance through your employer or union which covers orthodontics, we are happy to fill out and submit your claim forms to help you receive your benefits. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. All insurance policies vary, so we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.
If possible, please bring your insurance information to the first appointment.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
